Martin is also a keen falconer. He used to regularly fly his Lugger falcon, Rama and when time allows in the future Martin will be eager to fly falcons once again. His fondness and knowledge of these birds extends to his veterinary interests.
In contrast, Martin is also a bit of a petrol head! Again, when time allows, he participates in the Midland Hillclimb Championships in his motorbike engine powered Hi-Tec. He also enjoys motorcycling, both on and off-road.
He and Kerry enjoy walking Acer, and Rush, and have two cats called Frostie & Kahn.
